Why not enjoy a movie as a family – and make it my favorite bear, Winnie the Pooh. Yes books and movies are fun so are stuffed animals of the bear I love. Yes, my senior high school pictures may have involved some of these bears as evidenced by the pictures that can be unearthed in a scrapbook or two.
I am working to get Mackenzie used to listening to books rather than always watching a movie. However trying to get Mackenzie used to books with more words than pictures may have gone a little awry. I enjoyed it but Mackenzie told me the books I found for her didn’t have enough pictures. Good thing she has my childhood collection of Winnie the Pooh teddy bears to play with as I read this new series of books to her. Also the collection of movies I own… yep, the collection includes VHS tapes, DVDs, and a Blue-ray movie. I think the collection is also going to need to grow when the new Christopher Robin movie comes to media other than a movie theater.
My girl and I are spending this early morning watching Winnie the Pooh – Pooh’s Heffalump Movie. It is a pretty cute one in the vault of my old movies. Thankful and grateful for this quiet time in the mornings with my girl. I just wish she would learn how to sleep in a little so I could get a little more quiet reading time in myself in the mornings. Oh well, this Wednesday start is a little awesome too as there is much time for hugging one of the ones I love the most while watching one of my favorite bears.
